Improving Our Environment Through Education and Engagement

Volunteer for KSLB Events

Our volunteers are among the most caring and passionate people we’ve ever met! You’re welcome to join us and help keep Sugar Land beautiful.

  • Don't Mess With Texas Trash-Off

Our annual Don’t Mess With Texas Trash-Off is a wonderful way to get involved and to make a difference! Our event occurs in April.  Registration opens in February.  Groups and individuals are always welcome, but advance registration is required. Volunteers under age 18 must have a registered adult participate with them.

  • Trees Across Sugar Land

Join us for a fun morning planting and mulching native trees!  Our event occurs annually in November.  Advance registration is required. This event is a fun one for first-timers and repeat volunteers!

  • Storm Drain Marking

Only Rain in the Storm Drain! Help us mark storm drains with this important message. Excess rain and ground water enter our storm drains and flow untreated into our waterways. The purpose of storm drains is to prevent street flooding by quickly transferring rainwater to streams, rivers, oceans, etc.  Volunteers 16 and older may volunteer with a registered adult over age 21.

These are just a few ways to volunteer. Please visit our programs section or contact us for more information.  We would love to include you as a volunteer!
