Improving Our Environment Through Education and Engagement

Keep Sugar Land Beautiful Has Been Awarded an Apache Corporation Tree Grant

Keep Sugar Land Beautiful has been awarded an Apache Corporation Tree Grant for 150 native hardwoods to be planted in Brazos River Park in Sugar Land. KSLB volunteers will partner with the City of Sugar Land Parks Department to plant and mulch these trees during KSLB’s 11th annual Trees Across Sugar Land. The Apache Corporation Grant allows Keep Sugar Land Beautiful to continue to contribute to the beautiful tree canopy in Sugar Land. The Apache Corporation Tree Grant program has awarded KSLB 40,000 native hardwood saplings and 701 five gallon native hardwoods annually since 2008.

Keep Sugar Land Beautiful is a 501c3 non-profit affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful dedicated to educate and engage everyone to take responsibility for the environmental health of our community.
